The incident where Jack97 “let it slip” on stage, blurting out “Lào gì cũng tôn” in front of a fiery crowd, might seem like a fleeting moment of impulsiveness — yet it has peeled open a deeper crack in Vietnam’s pop culture: when young artists no longer know fear, and audiences grow accustomed to what’s wrong.

A Ten-Second Clip That Exposed a Cultural Problem

A video not even ten seconds long was enough to ignite a storm of controversy, outrage, and disappointment. Across social media, people split into camps — some defending Jack for “showing personality,” others condemning him for disrespecting the audience.

Arrogance That’s Been Allowed to Grow

Just days before the scandal, Jack97’s company had been fined for holding a press conference with content inconsistent with what was approved. Yet barely a week later, he stood before thousands and uttered a vulgar phrase, causing public backlash.
It’s fair to ask: Was that defiance?

Maybe Jack didn’t mean to challenge anyone — maybe he was just “joking,” like many young people do. But what’s troubling isn’t the joke — it’s his indifference to consequences, his lack of fear for discipline.
A fine of a few million đồng means nothing to a star earning hundreds of millions per show. The punishment was too small — like a mosquito bite on stainless steel — and it quietly sent the message: “Rebellion is cheap. Being outrageous pays.”

Imagine if anyone could publicly curse and pay just 5% of their daily wage for it — the world would explode in chaos.
But Jack isn’t just anyone. He’s a public figure, seen by millions, a representative of a generation’s cultural image.

Fearless — Because No One Ever Stopped Him

People say, “The young are allowed to make mistakes.” True — but only if they learn from them. Jack97 was punished once, criticized many times, yet he keeps walking the fine line between right and wrong with no sign of remorse.
Why? Because no one has ever truly made him afraid.

Some artists, like Đàm Vĩnh Hưng, once faced performance bans — and they complied. But Jack? His defenders flooded the internet, KOLs sneered “Who can ban him?”, and officials remained silent, waiting for “reports from local authorities.”
That loop of indulgence keeps feeding chaos in the entertainment industry, where a vulgar outburst becomes “no big deal.”

The Blame Doesn’t Stop with Jack

It’s too easy to dump all responsibility on him. Behind his arrogance lies a whole ecosystem of negligence
TV shows chasing ratings, producers chasing clicks, and audiences watching not for art, but for gossip.

Even that line “Lào gì cũng tôn” — if you look closer — sounds like a self-pitying complaint: “Why is everything aimed at me?”
But was Jack really a victim? No. Every scandal he’s faced — from personal drama to public behavior — was born from his own choices. When you live recklessly, you can’t blame the audience for watching the crash.

It’s Not Just What He Said — It’s Where He Said It

If Jack had expressed his frustration in a song, with a thought-provoking lyric or bold statement, that might have been called artistic expression.
But shouting a vulgar line on stage, in front of a live audience, isn’t art — it’s disrespect.

Artists have the right to rebel, yes — but not the right to drag everyone else into the mud. Every word they speak can echo among thousands of young fans, turning bad manners into a new “norm.”

When Fans and Idols Reflect Each Other

The sad truth is, Jack97’s behavior mirrors something bigger — a society slowly desensitized to indecency. Fans who defend him, share his clip, and flood the comments with heart emojis are part of the mirror reflecting our current mindset:
We love drama more than decency, noise more than meaning.

Let’s be honest — we’ve all cursed in anger once or twice. The difference is, most of us know it’s wrong. Today, many treat vulgarity as “authenticity.” That illusion makes artists like Jack think they’re “loved for being real,” when in fact, they’re just participating in the cheapening of culture.

The Dangerous Silence of Those in Power

Three days after the incident, the Department of Performing Arts still hadn’t said a word. No statement. No warning. Maybe they were “waiting for the proper report.”
But while procedures crawl forward, culture bleeds backward.

This slow, bureaucratic reaction teaches performers one thing: “Go ahead. No one will stop you.”
And soon, vulgar lyrics and crude performances multiply — because silence has become approval.

The Real Problem: The Ones Behind the Curtain

The most frightening part isn’t Jack97 — it’s the producers and showrunners who knowingly put such figures on mainstream TV.
They know exactly who crosses the line, yet they push them into the spotlight because “controversy gets clicks.”

Parents might ban TikTok, but they can’t ban prime-time television.
So when a problematic artist appears on official channels, vulgarity becomes institutionalized, wearing the costume of legitimacy.

It’s No Longer About Jack97 — It’s About Us

That infamous line, “Lào gì cũng tôn?”, is more than an outburst.
It’s a mirror, reflecting an uncomfortable question for our entire pop culture:
Why have we become so tolerant of what’s wrong?
Why can vulgarity and popularity coexist so easily?

Look at our neighbors — their pop music is still fun and commercial, yet full of literary elegance and cultural depth.
Because they invest in aesthetic education and value artistic literacy.
Meanwhile, we’ve reduced everything to numbers — views, likes, interactions — until art is no longer about meaning, but metrics.

When a trashy song hits ten million views, while meaningful art barely reaches a few thousand, the problem runs far deeper than any one artist.
It’s systemic — from policymakers to producers, from performers to audiences.

In the End — Don’t Just Ask Jack, Ask Yourself

Jack97 was wrong, undeniably.
But the bigger tragedy is that an entire culture has stopped feeling that it’s wrong.
When vulgarity becomes entertainment, and absurdity becomes “authentic style,” the question “Lào gì cũng tôn?” isn’t his alone — it’s ours too.

It’s a wake-up call — a reminder that every time we consume such content, we’re shaping the culture we’ll live in.

If we don’t want the next generation to believe that “cursing is confidence” and “being offensive is originality,” then maybe — just maybe —
it’s time we all learned to fear again.
Fear the wrong, fear the ugly, and fear losing our sense of culture.\

The new "Golden Card" program introduced by former President Donald Trump is causing a stir as it allows foreigners to purchase U.S. permanent residency for $5 million. The program aims to attract investment from wealthy individuals, with the ambitious goal of raising $1 trillion to reduce the national debt. Although still in its early stages, data from the U.S. Department of Commerce reveals that 1,000 "Golden Cards" were sold within just 24 hours.

The $5 Million Golden Card: A Smart Investment or a Risky Gamble?

It is estimated that around 37 million people worldwide have the financial means to participate in this program. Former President Trump is confident he can sell a million cards: "Unlike the Green Card, this is the Golden Card. We are pricing it at around $5 million, granting the same privileges as a Green Card and a pathway to U.S. citizenship. We believe this program will be a massive success."

U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick stated that the "Golden Card" will replace the traditional Green Card. Although holders can still apply for citizenship, Lutnick noted that most would likely opt out to avoid U.S. global taxation.

The concept of a "Golden Card" is not new. More than 100 countries, including the UK, Australia, Canada, Italy, and Greece, have implemented similar programs. Some nations, such as Malta and Egypt, even offer direct citizenship through investment.

At $5 million, the U.S. "Golden Card" would be one of the most expensive visa programs in the world. However, it has sparked controversy, as it could be exploited for money laundering and might drive up housing prices in major cities.

Concerns over "Golden Visa" programs have led several European nations to scale back or suspend them. If Trump's plan moves forward without congressional approval, the debate is likely to intensify further.

In reality, many ultra-wealthy individuals are not particularly interested in the U.S. "Golden Card." A Forbes survey of 18 billionaires found that 13 were uninterested, three were undecided, and only two were seriously considering it. The primary deterrent? Taxes—since the U.S. taxes its citizens on their worldwide income, something many billionaires seek to avoid.

Will the "Golden Card" be a lucrative deal for the U.S., or is it just another ambitious dream of Donald Trump?

A shocking security breach involving former President Trump’s aides discussing military plans in a Signal group chat—including a journalist—has raised serious concerns. However, instead of addressing the gravity of the situation, pro-Trump media outlets are working to discredit the reporting, downplay the incident, and shift public focus elsewhere.

Rather than debating the risks of such a leak, conservative media figures have chosen to attack The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg, who exposed the story. On X, Elon Musk and his supporters mocked the controversy, while right-wing outlets like Breitbart focused on undermining Goldberg’s credibility instead of analyzing the national security implications.

This approach is reminiscent of Trump’s first term, during which damaging reports were routinely dismissed as partisan smears or “fake news.” Right-wing media played a key role in shaping Trump’s response then, and the same pattern is repeating now.

Fox News, the dominant conservative news network, has taken the lead in minimizing the scandal. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, a former Fox host, dismissed the controversy by branding Goldberg a “discredited journalist” and accusing him of spreading misinformation. This mirrors Trump’s long-standing tactic of labeling unfavorable reports as “hoaxes” to rally his base into ignoring them.

Despite these denials, the Trump administration has already confirmed the authenticity of the leaked messages. Goldberg directly refuted Hegseth’s claim, stating, “That’s a lie. He was texting war plans.”

Fox News hosts, however, have continued to downplay the situation. Sean Hannity criticized media reactions as “hysteria,” while Laura Ingraham suggested only “left-wing networks” were interested. Jesse Watters trivialized the issue, saying, “We’ve all texted the wrong person before.”

Rather than providing serious coverage, Fox & Friends prioritized a segment on deportations before briefly addressing the leak, casting doubt on Goldberg’s account instead of acknowledging the severity of the breach.

Meanwhile, Trump’s advisors appear unconcerned. Axios quoted an anonymous Trump aide stating, “We don’t care what the media says” and predicting that the issue “will blow over.”

However, Trump is known to care deeply about media coverage. Despite recently attacking NBC News, he called into the network to comment on the Signal chat scandal.

Goldberg’s report remains The Atlantic’s top-read article, demonstrating the public’s continued interest. Unfazed by potential backlash, Goldberg asserted, “All we can do is just go do our jobs.”

While pro-Trump media scrambles to spin the narrative, the core issue remains unchanged: a major security breach has occurred, and no amount of deflection can erase the facts.

Illinois Democrat state representative Bob Morgan claimed that middle school girls who alleged they were forced to change in a locker room with a transgender student were not telling the truth about the incident.

The issue was raised during an Illinois General Assembly session on Tuesday after Deerfield resident Nicole Georgas filed a federal civil rights complaint. Georgas had previously exposed the allegations during a school board meeting last week.

Morgan, who represents Deerfield, responded when Republican state representative Adam Neimerg brought up Georgas' claims. In his statement, Morgan criticized Neimerg for even discussing the matter while commending the way the community and schools handled the situation. He called the claims "a lie."

"I'm incredibly proud of my community, which stood up to protect those who need support, ensuring that we have outstanding schools—because we do, by the way—alongside amazing families and a strong, united neighborhood addressing this issue. Because it's false!" Morgan declared.

"So next time a representative wants to bring up other districts, I get that he may feel embarrassed—and, honestly, he probably should—but instead of standing here wasting our time on this, maybe focus on issues in your own district first."

Morgan’s remarks prompted a strong response from Georgas on X.

"Really, [Rep. Morgan?] Was your daughter in that locker room? Because mine was! How dare you accuse them of lying? You are disgusting [and] despicable, and I hope one day I get to play the audio for you!" Georgas wrote.

According to her complaint filed with the Justice Department, Georgas accused school officials of trying to force her 13-year-old daughter to change clothes in front of a transgender student in the girls’ locker room last month. She revealed the complaint during a Board of Education meeting for Deerfield Public School District 109, claiming her daughter had refused to change into her gym uniform because a biological male was present.

"The girls want their locker rooms and bathrooms back. They want privacy. That’s why I’m here tonight. My 13-year-old daughter's well-being, mental health, and personal space are at risk," Georgas stated during Thursday’s board meeting.

She further explained that her daughter was "frightened" and "very upset" on February 5 when she saw a transgender student using the girls’ bathroom at the same time.

"When she questioned it, administrators told her that the student was allowed to use the girls' bathroom and locker room because they now identify as female," Georgas said.

The situation escalated when her daughter and classmates continued refusing to change for gym class due to the transgender student's presence. According to Georgas, school officials later intervened and insisted the girls change into their uniforms.

"Joanna Ford, [Assistant Principal] Cathy Van Treese, and multiple teachers entered the girls’ locker room and told them to change. This continued all week," Georgas claimed, adding that her daughter still "refused to comply."

She then took her concerns to the school administration, arguing that the policy violated former President Donald Trump’s "Keeping Men out of Women's Sports" executive order. However, she was informed that legal counsel had advised the district that the student had the right to use both the girls’ bathroom and locker room.

In a statement to Fox News Digital, Deerfield Public Schools District 109 insisted that no student is forced to change in front of others and that school policies align with state law.

"District 109 is dedicated to fostering a learning environment where all students and staff are treated with dignity and respect. Our policies and procedures, including locker room usage, comply with Illinois state law, the Illinois School Code, and guidance from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE). No student is required to change in front of peers during physical education. Every middle school student has the option to change in a private area if they prefer," the school’s statement read.

In a recent development, Senator Lindsey Graham from South Carolina has issued a warning that former President Donald Trump could face the risk of defeat in the 2024 election if he continues to overly focus on the 2020 election. Graham, a prominent supporter of Trump, conveyed this viewpoint in an interview on ABC's "This Week."

According to Graham, putting too much emphasis on the previous election might diminish Trump's chances of winning in the upcoming one. He suggests that Trump should look forward and concentrate on issues such as improving security and prosperity for Americans to garner support.

While Graham has accepted the results of the 2020 election and expressed concerns about 2024, he also did not shy away from acknowledging the perceived political bias in the decision of the Colorado Supreme Court, which he views as a politically motivated determination.

Graham's perspective is not only a cautionary note but also a critique of the Colorado Supreme Court's decision to bar Trump from appearing on the Republican primary ballot in Colorado in 2024. He believes that this situation could lead to significant politicization in the presidential race, negatively impacting the country.

Though Graham is optimistic that Trump will be on the ballot in Colorado and may even win the primary, the court's decision has raised a warning flag about the potential pitfalls of excessive focus on the past, which could jeopardize future success. Graham warns against over-politicization, emphasizing the potential harm it could inflict on the nation.

With these recent developments, strategic management and fostering a positive vision for the future become more critical than ever for Donald Trump if he aims to regain voter support in the upcoming 2024 election.

The Chairman of the Federal Election Commission came out with an explosive announcement, saying that from what he has seen in Pennsylvania, and reports he’s been getting from elsewhere in the country, this election is illegitimate.

This is incredible news. I know that those that Fake News networks don’t think so, but it is because this guy, Trey Trainor, is the official head honcho Federal Election Commission guy, and he just said that the election is illegitimate.  Sure, the Federal Election Commission is the government body that enforces campaign finance laws, but being involved in investigations of fraud in campaign finance law allows you to get a reading on voter fraud in general.  He is a plain-spoken man who has no problem saying it like it is.

He dropped the explosive statement on the Fake News media during an appearance on Newsmax, the new Fox News after Fox fell to liberalism thanks to Paul Ryan when he made the announcement that he believes, “that there is voter fraud taking place in these places.”

No official in any of the key battleground states can give a single legitimate reason to block observers from being able to observe the vote count. That is what gives us transparency and faith in our election process. The ballot counting must be illegitimate if those things happen.

This guy isn’t some state official or a left-wing activist anchor on CNN who thinks he has the right to declare who’s president, Trey Trainor is a federal election official, which means he carries more weight when it comes to calling federal elections legitimate or illegitimate.

What’s more, he’s the chairman of the commission, the top guy on the Federal Election Commission.  Being in that position the man knows a thing or three about the legitimacy or illegitimacy of an election.  Is pretty much seen it all and he knows what to look at and how to look at it when it comes to voter fraud accusations period.

During his appearance on Newsmax’s “National Report,” Trainor said, “Despite winning a court order which allows the Trump campaign to send observers to watch ballot counting in Pennsylvania from six feet away ballot watchers ‘have not been allowed into the polling locations in a meaningful way.’”  The workers in Philadelphia just ignored the court order and continued to block the observers right to observe.

The chairman points out that “when observers have been permitted to watch, the goalpost has been moved away from the six feet required by the court order.” if you were looking for transparency there you weren’t gonna find it.  “They have not been allowed that meaningful access,” he said, adding, “There has not been transparency in the election” concluding, “this election is illegitimate.“

“Our whole political system is based upon transparency to avoid the appearance of corruption,” Trainor said. “State law allows those observers to be in there. If the law isn’t being followed then this election is ‘illegitimate.‘”

During a press conference on Saturday the Trump campaign made a big announcement.  They announce that they will go to the mattresses for this in the courts.   As Rudy Giuliani said, the media doesn’t get to decide who won the election, and when that’s stolen from the voters, it goes to the judges.

Trainor believes that the claims being made by the Trump people are “very valid allegations,” he believes must be “fully vetted” by the courts.   He also believes the allegations are strong enough that they will wind up in the US Supreme Court.

This is pretty much how everyone who voted for Donald Trump feels.  You don’t see the Biden campaign or any of his supporters wanting to get down to brass tacks and investigate if there was voter massive fraud. The reason for that, more than likely, is because they know that their side cheated.
